Convert SVG to PNG: how it works
How to convert
Drop your SVG file above (or paste its code), then open Export. PNG and 2× scale are already chosen. Pick 1×, 2×, 3× or 4× for a sharper image, choose a transparent, white or coloured background, and save. The export shows a preview and the file size first.
Why PNG
PNG is a raster format that every app and site accepts, which is why you need it when a place will not take an SVG: social posts, slide decks, email, app store listings and some upload forms. Because an SVG has no fixed pixel size, you can export it as large as you need without it going blurry.
Edit before you export
You are in a full editor, so you can change colours, move things, crop with an artboard or clean up the paths before exporting. For several artboards, export them all as a ZIP. Everything runs on your device; your file is never uploaded.
What it does
A full SVG editor that runs in your browser
Draw, reshape and clean up icons, logos and illustrations, or open an SVG you already have and change it. There is nothing to install and no account, and your files never leave your device.
-
01
Edit paths node by node
Draw with the pen or pencil, then drag anchor points and Bézier handles. Add or remove nodes, switch a node between corner and smooth, and open or close a path. Pen, rectangle, ellipse, line, polygon, star and text tools are all included.
In your browser -
02
Style with fills, strokes and gradients
Set solid colours, linear and radial gradients with any number of stops, stroke width, caps, joins, dashes and opacity. The eyedropper copies a style from one shape to another.
In your browser -
03
Combine shapes with boolean operations
Union, subtract, intersect and exclude paths to build new shapes, turn a stroke into an outline, and simplify a rough drawing into fewer nodes.
In your browser -
04
Several SVGs in one document
Every file opens as a tab, and each tab can hold several artboards, so an icon set lives in one place. Layers can be grouped, hidden, locked and reordered, with align, distribute and snapping to keep things tidy. Open tabs survive a page reload.

Export
Export as SVG, PNG, JPG, WebP or React
Preview the result and its file size before you save it.
Vector
- Readable SVG, or an optimized one with metadata, editor attributes and unused definitions removed.
- Choose how many decimals paths keep. Fewer decimals make smaller files.
- A React (JSX) component, or a CSS data URI to paste straight into a stylesheet.
Raster
- PNG, JPG and WebP at 1×, 2× and 4×, or any size you set.
- An optional background colour, for formats with no transparency.
- A ZIP of every artboard in one go.

Questions
Asked often
Can I make a PNG with a transparent background?
Yes. The background is transparent by default; choose White or a colour if you want one.
How do I get a larger PNG?
Choose 2×, 3× or 4× in Export. The SVG is rendered at that size, so it stays sharp.
Can I convert SVG to JPG or WebP?
Yes. Pick JPG or WebP in the same Export dialog.
Can I convert several SVGs to PNG at once?
Yes. Open them as artboards in one document and export each artboard as a ZIP of PNGs.
Why does my PNG look different from the SVG?
Fonts that are not installed on your device and references to outside images can render differently. Check the preview before saving.
Is my SVG uploaded?
No. The SVG is drawn and saved as a PNG in your browser.
