01
Edit paths node by node
Draw with the pen or pencil, then drag anchor points and Bézier handles. Add or remove nodes, switch a node between corner and smooth, and open or close a path. Pen, rectangle, ellipse, line, polygon, star and text tools are all included.

02
Style with fills, strokes and gradients
Set solid colours, linear and radial gradients with any number of stops, stroke width, caps, joins, dashes and opacity. The eyedropper copies a style from one shape to another.

03
Combine shapes with boolean operations
Union, subtract, intersect and exclude paths to build new shapes, turn a stroke into an outline, and simplify a rough drawing into fewer nodes.

Several SVGs in one document
Every file opens as a tab, and each tab can hold several artboards, so an icon set lives in one place. Layers can be grouped, hidden, locked and reordered, with align, distribute and snapping to keep things tidy. Open tabs survive a page reload.

Export as SVG, PNG, JPG, WebP or React
Preview the result and its file size before you save it.
Vector
- Readable SVG, or an optimized one with metadata, editor attributes and unused definitions removed.
- Choose how many decimals paths keep. Fewer decimals make smaller files.
- A React (JSX) component, or a CSS data URI to paste straight into a stylesheet.
Raster
- PNG, JPG and WebP at 1×, 2× and 4×, or any size you set.
- An optional background colour, for formats with no transparency.
- A ZIP of every artboard in one go.

Questions
Asked often
Is the SVG editor free?
Yes. There is no account, no watermark and no limit on how many files you edit.
Are my SVG files uploaded?
No. Files are opened, edited and exported entirely in your browser. Nothing is sent to a server, and the editor records no usage.
Can I open an SVG I already have?
Yes. Drop one or more .svg files on the page, choose them from your device, or paste the SVG code. Each file opens in its own tab, and you can add more SVGs to a tab as extra artboards.
Is it safe to open SVGs from anywhere?
Scripts, event handlers, external links and embedded foreign content are removed when a file is opened, so a malicious SVG cannot run code in the editor.
How do I edit the points of a path?
Choose the node tool (A), select a path and drag its anchor points or handles. Double-click a node to switch it between corner and smooth, click a path segment to add a node, and press Delete to remove the selected one.
How do I export an SVG as a PNG?
Open Export, choose PNG, pick 1×, 2×, 4× or a custom size, and save. JPG and WebP work the same way. For formats without transparency you can set a background colour.
How do I make an SVG file smaller?
Export as optimized SVG. It removes metadata, comments, editor attributes, empty groups and unused definitions, and rounds numbers to the number of decimals you choose. The preview shows the file size before you save.
Can I use an SVG in React?
Yes. Export as a React component (JSX) and paste it into your project, or export a CSS data URI to use the SVG as a background image.
Can it combine and cut shapes?
Yes. Union, subtract, intersect and exclude combine selected shapes into one path. You can also outline a stroke and simplify a path to fewer nodes.
How do I make a favicon from an SVG?
Export your SVG as a PNG at the size you need, then open it in the Image tool and convert it to ICO.
Does my work survive a reload?
Your open tabs are kept for the life of the browser tab, so a reload brings them back. Export your work to keep it permanently, since closing the browser tab clears it.
