Why 10 MB
Discord caps the size of an upload, and the cap for a free account has been small. This page aims for 10 MB, which fits. If your server allows more, type the size you have in the options.
How to do it
The size is already set. Drop your video above and press the button. XPRTIX works out the bitrate from the length of the video, encodes it, and checks the result, running a second pass when it lands more than 5% over. The result is an MP4 that Discord shows inline.
Tips
Short clips compress best. Use Edit to cut a clip down, or lower the resolution to 720p or 480p in the options. For a looping clip, a GIF is another way, though it is larger than a video.
Free limit and paid tiers
On Discord the upload limit for a free account is about 10 MB. Paid plans and boosted servers allow much more, so the right target depends on who is sending. This page starts at 10 MB because that works for everyone; change the size in the options if you have more room.
Discord shows a video inline, with a player, when it is an MP4 with H.264 video and AAC sound. Other formats arrive as a plain attachment. The file you get here is that kind of MP4, so it plays in the channel without a download.

Keep clips short, trim the start and end, and lower the resolution to 720p. A short clip at 720p looks better than a long one squeezed.
